Your efforts to reduce physical restraint usage just got more support!

Qualis Health is working with Idaho and Washington nursing homes in a Learning and Action Network focused on reducing physical restraint usage.

The Network is designed to harness the power of collaboration, spread practical implementation of best practices, and connect participants to national initiative activities and resources—all with an aim of achieving bold improvements in nursing home quality of care. 

Participating nursing homes are committed to:

• Participating in each of the learning sessions and action periods
• Assessing current practices, test improvement ideas, implement effective changes, and use data to track progress
• Ensuring that improvements become embedded into everyday practice
• Using an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach and apply evidence-based practice
• Engaging in peer-to-peer problem-solving of common challenges to implementation
• Building on current quality assurance program by learning and implementing systematic performance improvement approaches
